Agree jfk mate Spurs got beaten at home by Wolves I dare say their supporters are not impressed but just at this time of year you need a tidy big squad. We have something like 30% +of our squad injured

67,
I agree with some of what you have said although we got our arse smacked by little old Burnley(who looked a very tidy side).
The Fixture list this time of year there's loads of games its the same for every team, lots of results have been unexpected.
The way I saw yesterday's game is Burnley where by far the better team, there's no complaints from me they finally looked the part and we didn't tearn up.
It's a game best forgotten as far as I'm concearned we've been great of late and a pleasure to watch. Its a case of taking one loss on the chin and moving on.

Agree Nasri may add that element. We had around 11 first team players out and Anderson , Snodgrass,Diop and Rice have played every game in December

What we really missed today was a bit of steel. A Billy Bonds, a Frank Lampard, a Julian Dicks type, who would have put in a few semi-legal clumps to the Burnley bullies.

That and an extra night's sleep as they all looked knackered.

We had 2 of the back 4 missing Diop doesn't turn to shit overnight .Some of the reactions on here when we lose is fucking pathetic

Decent season, but a shake up is coming.

These are the players for the head chop:
- Perez
- Ogbonna
- Masuaku

Jury out:
- Carroll
- Hernandez
- Obiang
- Noble

This.

Hopefully a few changes for Brighton to freshen things up. Boy could we do with Balbuena back - sounds like his injury wasn’t too serious?

Either way at least Zaba, Obiang, Masuaku and Diangara start for me Wednesday. Balbuena if he can. To at least inject some more energy into the side.

Hugh SOUTHON gave Ogbonna 7/10 in his match ratings

Hahahahahahahaha

We are so poorly managed as an organisation - Pellegrini shouldn't have to worry about travel arrangements, but he obviously needs to.

Where else but West Ham?

The Premier league is by far the best in the world it's great to watch.a couple of mistakes will cost teams.
The game in this league is so quick, every player has to give it their all.
A mistake ot two will cost a three points.

I mentioned earlier that Ogbonna always plays like he has a massive turd in the back of his pants...his mobility and positioning can be quite shocking more often than not.

A complete fuckung balls up.Didnt take the game against this lot seriously enough and got stuffed.
Credit to Burnley and we got beat fair and square.Theres no games whoever you are in this league that are easy.

I agree, he's awful and should be one of the first sold

Surprised Ogbonna has escaped criticism.

Never liked him. Just think he’s a plainly awful defender. Today he was beyond atrocious.

Really can’t see him having any future under Pellegrini. Delighted to see the back of him.

Re: Burnley v West Ham - Official Match Thread FT 2-0
We should have been prepared for Burnley’s intensity and we simply weren’t. You can blame injuries and fixtures to a certain extent but they have the same issues to face and that was still a dire performance. We simply assumed they’d roll over like they did against Everton, instead of putting on a season turning performance. You cannot approach any game like that in this league and hope to win.

The travel arrangements after the Southampton match sound like the biggest cock-up involved with this game.

As someone else said, if there isn't a flight from Southampton arriving back at a reasonable time, get a coach. A luxury coach with sleeping berths can't cost that much more than a flight.

Alternatively, crash in a hotel in Southampton and get a flight at a reasonable time in the morning.

Was a shit performance all round. Was like cardboard cutouts.
Need to buck our ideas up against the Brighton Piers.

(Oh...and hats off to the mob who went up there. Superb as usual. Especially aving to suffer that pathetic turn out).

I was surprised Obiang didn’t stare after the Southampton game, was he injured? First half was really poor, second half slightly better but got what we deserved.

Re: Burnley v West Ham - Official Match Thread FT 2-0
Always think there is one too many games at this time of the year and it often comes down to teams having the players to refresh the team or having some extra rest.
The pointless switch of our Boxing Day game means Burnley had an extra days rest and played like it.
Will be in the same situation v Brighton.
